Ways to connect through Companionship
- One‑to‑one Companion Calls: Regular, often weekly, friendly conversations with the same trained volunteer, offering a consistent connection and someone who gets to know you.
- Weekly online groups: One‑hour groups each week. Join when you’d like - you can dip in and out depending on how you’re feeling.
- Online forum: The Dementia Support Forum is a separate online community, available anytime, where anyone affected by dementia can connect with others. You'll need to register to become a member.
You don’t have to commit to all three options. Let us know what interests you and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
What to expect from our Companionship Services

- Flexible access depending on your needs
- Regular Companion Calls, with optional online group conversations
- Availability across England, Wales and Northern Ireland
Our Companionship Services aren’t clinical or crisis care. Online elements require internet access.
